Some old v8 engined cars in a parade, idling and occasionally revving. They have open headers, meaning they have no mufflers and either no or very small exhaust pipes, therefore they're loud and "burbly"! there is some chatter from people standing on the parade route as well. This was a battery-powered train car running in circles on its plastic track. Is the sound pleasant? no. Did i hold my zoom h4n upside-down in the center of the circuit so the engine slowly pans from ear to ear? absolutely.

Driving my ford escort mk3 1985. Full acceleration from traffic light. If you listen carefully, you can hear the tires trying to find grip in first gear:) near the end when i get up to speed, you can hear my tools rattling. Recorded with my phone.
This sound was recorded while driving down the road on my way to school while it was raining. I was traveling between 0 and 60 miles per hour. So there is a variation in the intensity of the rain falling against my car. As-well you gain a slight acknowledgement to the acceleration of my engine.

A backfire sound i made from a couple of other freesound samples after i realized i couldn't find a backfire sound anywhere. It's a little deep but i didn't want a wimpy backfire.
